http://dhani-blog.travelchannel.com/tag/travel.rssIt wasn't like I knew what I wanted to do. I mean, who's born into the world, cries and subsequently says, "I want to be in the water all the time," or do they? You see, I believe that some things are just innate to your being and other things are impressed upon you. Take for instance, an over the top, I mean super expensive chain. You know bling, bling and all those diamond things. I truly believe that in some way the "industry" suggests that if you wear a chain, you've made it. Or even, Gucci loafers. What's wrong with Cole Hahn or even Cutter and Buck? Many things in life are made to be amazing because society builds its profile. On the other hand, like I said before, you come with your own profile and I'm not talking about Facebook. I'm talking about the resident DNA that occupies who you are.

I've seen some places while working on "Dhani Tackles the Globe." We have been everywhere under the sun it seems, from Australia to Russia, Singapore to Switzerland. I mean, we have been to some places. Traveling sort of prepares you for the next port of call. Each place sets a different protocol to follow and a rhythm to expect. One thing about traveling that I've found is that you have to be ready for anything, and I do mean anything. It could just be the smell of a new country. It could be the attitude of the people. I suppose there is a saying in life that states ... Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Well, welcome to the world of Dhani Jones. I've been fooled time and time again. The producers bring me to these incredible countries, Switzerland, Thailand, Spain and now Singapore to try all of these amazing sports and the most interesting thing turns out to be the animals, go figure. What was I thinking, making a reality, non-scripted television would just be so simple -- train for the sport, talk to some people and it would be perfect. Yeah right, perfection is hidden pirates booty and I suppose I'm the sap that's always looking for it.

Out of all the crazy things to do in England I end up horse back riding on a fox (drag) hunt. Now I can tell you this, my sister had a horse and I took care of the horse. I love horse back riding, and when I get finished with everything, whatever or whenever that might be, I will live on a ranch and will take care of horses, cows, sheep and chickens, if I must. I love the farm life, there is something about being out there in the countryside, you and your horse.
